Having a house on the beach is a wish lots of people have, including me.
Looking at the sea, as the tides go up and down, feels like paradise. But, most of us do not realize how this motion of the sea is also killing the shores worldwide, sometimes slowly and sometimes in an instant.
This killer motion has done, and is still doing damages in North Topsail, North Carolina, USA.
The pictures below show the inlet at the very end of North Topsail, where damages are the worst.
